Statusi i ushqyerjes së fëmijëve është përmirësuar gjatë këtyre 5 viteve të fundit. Megjithatë, fëmijët ende hasin probleme të shumta me ushqyerjen, ku ndër të tjera përfshihen norma të larta të mbiushqyerjes, pabarazi ndërmjet situatës së shëndetit dhe statusit të të ushqyerit dhe mungesa të theksuara në mikronutriente.

Projekat Podrške Izgradnje otpada: Novi kapaciteti za podršku vladanja otpadom – IZGRADNJA PODRSKE ZA PRERADU OTPADA: NOVE MOGUCNOSTI ZA NJEGOVO TRETIRANJE- financiran je uz doprinos od 1,6 miliona € iz programa jadranske prekogranične saradnje IPA. Nosilac projekta je Opština Bushat u Albaniji, u suradnji s još tri opstine – Opština Kamez za Albaniju, Opština Bar u Crnoj Gori i Opština Macerata u Italiji – i dva preduzeća s područja Opštine Macerata – Cosmari i Coop.Meridiana.
