Dr. Tome PREKU is founder of the Foundation “Partnership for Development” and currently holds the duty of the Executive Director of PfD Foundation.

Dr. Preku is highly qualified and with extensive expertise and experience in partnership and twinning relationships building, design, implementation and management of cross border economic and social development projects, economic policy formulation and advocacy.

Dr. Preku background is in agronomy, and he holds a PhD in rural economic development policies ( AUT, Albania).

Since April 2012, Dr. Preku is appointed as Honorary Consul of Malta in Albania;

For 10 years, from 1997 – 2007 has been holding the duty of the Executive and General Director of Caritas Albania and from 2007 – 2012, has been the Adviser of the President of the Republic of Albania, for the Relations with Civil Society and Religions;
